Yahoo Sports is reporting that Chris Paul is close to a deal that would make him a Laker.

Here's the deal:

It's a three-team deal involving LA, Houston, and NO.

LA would get Paul, Houston would get Pau Gasol, and NO would get Lamar Odom, Kevin Martin, Goran Dragic, and Luis Scola.

It already done, Yahoo is just late. The big thing is they still have Bynum so the play for Howard is still possible.

 

Bostons Big 3 worked becuase all three were different skill sets. Peirce was a slasher, Allen a shooter and Garnett is a defendor, iside outside thread. There was redundentcy

Miami's was just collecting basketball cards. Wade and Lebron are reduntdant. Both slashers that dont shoot. Bosh was an inside/outside that didnt want to bang anymore, didnt play defense, and was a total cat

LA, if they get both would be much more like Bostons in that all 3 fit together just fine

No it's because the Hornets have no owner so all of the owners had a say in the trade. The trade is currently on hold.
