The San Fransisco 49ers (10-3) host the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) at Candlestick Park on Monday 12/19/11 Kickoff time is 8:30 pm EST Discuss….
i'll call this a toss-up. if they had played this game a month ago, i would have given the edge to the niners but they are coming back to earth.
To me this game comes down to if Ben will be able to step into his throws or not (assuming he plays).
This game will be won in the trenches. Who ever controls the trenches will win. Niners oline needs to step up big time.
Posted this in another thread: Pittsburgh (10-3) will face San Francisco (10-3) on Monday Night Football this week, marking the fourth game in MNF history featuring two teams with at least 10 wins and a winning percentage of .750 or better. Sign me up for the loss...lol.
i only count 3 games this week where both teams are involved in the playoff race and we got it on MNF. thank god we finally got a decent game to watch on monday night.
Really a tough game to watch with Ben throwing flat-footed and unable to scramble. That's the one trait that makes him so dangerous and entertaining to watch.
