The New Orleans Saints(13-3) host the Detroit Lions (10-6) at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Saturday 01/07/2012 Kickoff time is 8:00 pm EST (NBC) Discuss….
let them sleep on our run game. they say we pass to set up the run. No. We pass and we run equally good. Like in 09. Chris Ivory will have his playoff coming out party against the Lions. And the outcome won't be any difference even with Suh there.
They're at home in the dome, who's counting them out there?? Are you making up stuff to feel like an underdog? They won't win in Lambeau in January though.
i'm with the steelers fans here. who counted the saints out? if anything, they may be getting MORE credit than they deserve, considering they are the #3 seed. I'm hearing a lot of people saying they're going to win the NFC. Regardless, I was laughing my butt off when Flynn threw that TD and then the packers sealed the game against the Lions, making them have to travel to New Orleans in this game. This match-up gives us the best chance for the Lions to get blown out early, lose their composure, and start getting ejected left and right. It may be very cathartic for those of us who dislike the Lions as much as the Jets............ yesterday was such an awesome day watching Sanchez choke once again and watching Flynn destroy the Lions secondary. Anyway, Saints 45-27, Lions have 3 ejections and 6 personal foul penalties
Bold prediction Saints should win this game. The Lions are putting up some great numbers but Breese is just playing out of his mind right now. 49 - 24
Your right absoulotely nobody is counting us out right? :icon_rolleyes: My point was we can put up big points and we have a strong running game we will show that against the lions. Everyone saying we cant win in Lambeau is a freaking fool.
And how do you come up with this idea? We have won on the road. Can't help when we play outside. And all the talk about teams used to playing in the cold is stupid. People are people no matter where they live. You don't see Eskimos walking around naked do you? They say that stuff to pump themselves up. I see our passing game is better than the packs because you can't double team everyone and we have more weapons than the Pack. Our running game is hitting on all cylinders. You have one back, we have 3 now. I don't see Chris Ivory having problems running on the defrosted tundra. And with the new clothes you can wear the cold is not a factor. And I doubt there will be 24 inches of snow on the ground. And that would affect both sides. I can see it if it was snow 365 days a year there but it isn't.
I would too if I was a 9er fan. You could stop the Lions enough for your "offense" to score some points. But there is no way to hold down the Saints enough for the 9ers to score enough. You may hold us down a couple of drives but we will get 27 points and I doubt the 9ers can score 17. But first things first. Saints beat the Lions by 30
Soldier Field 2006 is what I'm basing my opinion on. If i'm wrong then I am wrong, but I am banking on me being right.
not trying to argue with you. that was the first time the team and staff went that far. i can see your point. I hope I didn't sound too much like Dragonite. He is all right just too stubborn. But he is a Saints fan so I cut him so slack. I hope we meet the steelers in the SB. Talk about a Black and Gold Super Bowl. good luck in the playoffs. Is Ben gonna be ready? Don't like him personally but he is the best shot to win.
i would be shocked and would cry if the lions somehow win this one. i want the saints to build a 2o point lead so that the lions implode on the field and show their true colors once again.
