Yea he'll be fine, we lost Mendenhall and 2 depth cornerbacks against the Browns though that is a little more concerning.
If seattle beat u guys last year the lions can this year....except i dont expect that with how horrible the lions secondary is...injuries or not i havent seen DB's that bad in years....even for the lions. Spivey is rediculously horribad!
can anyone be beat on any given sunday? sure, but this 2011 team is not the same team you saw against the seahawks. They are much healthier and have upgraded their talent at a lot of positions on both sides of the ball. It's like comparing apples and oranges.
we lost three starters the week before in key positions. Ivory, Grahm and Jenkins. We are healthy this time and you see what happens when we are healthy. And before you bring up that Rams game that was a wakeup call. We haven't lost since and really have been getting better. Sure our defense gives up yards but if the offense is crappy they don't score. Teams are throwing more trying to catch up.
O.K. if not the rams what about the bucks? After they beat u they went on a 10 game losing streak...both of them bad teams with bad coaching staffs. Seems to me u guys will at times play down to the level of your compition. Hopeful this will happen saturday.
with it being a divisional game, I would say they were more up for it that we was. Also, as I have stated before, big backs just kill us. Tampon always usually give us a good game. match ups and all that. But I have no fear of the Yucks in the near future. They have too many "gangsters" that may not be there for every game. Can usually count on at least one or two to be susupended at some time or the other during the season and they don't have the depth and maturity to handle the next man up mantra.
Suh, vanden Bosch, who else? :icon_cheesygrin: For that dome theory: Packers can't win in a dome...... For the game itself: Saints going to rip the Kittens a new one....
Okay, how can you look at a game from 5 years ago and say that we can't win outside a dome? The team was essentially brand new than. We didn't have Ivory. Sproles. It was our first playoff game in forever. Things are A LOT different now.
injuries are mounting up on a bunch of teams. Still I like the saints running game. And I saw on tv today that the north is experiencing a heat wave so the frozen tundra could very well be the thawed tundra. So no advantage.
Saints struggled to beat the Titans outdoors. Their offense is nothing of how it is when they're on turf. So huge advantage.
i am not sure where i'm going to be watching this game yet. wherever i am, i'm just hoping for another lions meltdown. the one a month ago when these 2 teams met was fun to watch.
