Broncos QB Tim Tebow Is America's Favorite Pro Athlete

According to a new ESPN Sports Poll by way of Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow​ is America's favorite active professional athlete. The poll, which is calculated monthly, had Tebow on top of the list for December. And get this: In the 18 years of the ESPN Sports Poll, only 11 athletes have held the No. 1 spot in monthly polling. Those illustrious names include Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and LeBron James. In the December poll, Tebow was picked by 3 percent of those surveyed as their favorite active pro athlete, that put him ahead of Kobe Bryant (2 percent), Aaron Rodgers​ (1.9 percent), Peyton Manning (1.8 percent) and Tom Brady (1.5 percent).

1. I heard this morning on a local TV show that some kind of survey of 1,000 people was done, and 42% of the respondents said that they believed that God was a factor in Tebow's success.

2. I also heard that the Web site NFL.com - Official Site of the National Football League is completely sold out of Tebow jerseys. I think that's the first time that they've ever sold out of a player's jersey.
