Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is challenging the 49ers' defense Sunday in the NFC Championship Game according to Brendan Prunty of the Newark Star-Ledger. "To get knocked out, that means that have to hit you in your head," Jacobs said. "I wish like heck, one of them would try and hit me in the head. That means they're standing up and not hitting you in the legs." So much for the "soft" label. "You can set a tone if the chance is given," Jacobs said. "We know they're a great football team with a great defense — the best in the league — we've just got to go out and do the best we can." Source: The Redzone
I know right, he should be able to just truck over any single d back, but he runs like a 180lb shifty back... afraid of contact. Ronnie Lott would have finished this guy in a second.
I don't wish harm to anyone, but I'd REALLY like for Patrick Willis to meet Jacobs head to head and drop him unconscious.
