Congrats Giants fans, great game

After watching this game, Im glad I don't have to see Alex Smith in the Super Bowl. I dont think ive seen worse QBing short of a INT meltdown then I saw from Smith in a while. Both D's played outstanding, but Smith just isnt a winning QB.

 

1 great game, 1 pretty good game, both stained by stupid plays at the end.

i agree JJ. both of those defenses were contributing greatly to the QB's looking like crap. those defenses played out of their minds tonight.

 

Williams is gonna get the blame for this one, but it should go down on the offense. 17 points despite the defense giving them chances on a plate makes this a 49ers loss much more than what the Ravens did earlier.

Still, a great season from the 49ers, few gave them hope but they certainly proved many wrong. And Patriots/Giants Superbowl? Don't mind if I do!

 

It was a great day for football. Real football games the way they should be played. QB's getting killed. Games coming down to defense and ST's. Good to see god put down the Madden controller for one after noon

 

You know, how the FREAK do the Giants keep catching these freaking breaks? Last week the Pack should've won the game but constantly shot themselves in the foot over and over again. And then this week it happens again and the Niners freaking gift wrap the win for them. The worst part of this is listening to Giants fans acting like they won these games. Screw my life. I've never been a bigger Patriots fan than I am right now. But I'm sure the Pat's will dominate the game and then freaking gift wrap it for the Giants at the end.

 

I think Smith looked complete lost and over his head, and he wasnt even in as much durress as Eli was in the second half. Eli at least looked in his element, like someone that was gonna burn you if you didnt put him on his ass

The one thing that did come out of this game is how much of a BEAST Vernon Davis is.

eh, he wasn't playing great but a lot of what was going on was due to the giants coverage play......... he didn't have a lot of open receivers in the 2nd half.

 

Alex Smith looked like he was overwhelmed......crabtree a bust a no show for this game.
