I can sense some were on his nuts...........elite QB? I said it before and I'll say it again..............no heckin' way.
This. The first punt muff was a break.....maybe. But it was a great play by Thomas to notice that it touched The second was a strip. Not a gift play
Except for those two big plays to VD............Smith looked average at best. The Giants D was not the Saints D............
He needs bigger wr that. Are not crap. Crabtree has done nothing in the playoffs. Besides the giants secondary played great against our below average wideouts. This is all on Williams. If it was not for his 2 turnovers SF would have had a greater chance of getting the W Droid x. 49ers
Devin Thomas made the two biggest plays of his life............and Jacquian Williams, this kid has a bright future.
Even without the fumble the 49ers would lost. Smith posed NO threat. That ensuing serious of downs was destined to span 3 plays and net 4 yards. Maybe Eli doesn't move them into FG range the next series, but eventualy he would have hit a 30 yard pass and set them up. Never would have happened with Smith
Key notes: *Giants 5-0 all time in the NFC Championship (NFL Record) *Eli Manning 5 playoff road wins as a starting QB (NFL Record) * Tom Coughlin 7 playoff road wins as a head coach, ties Tom Landry for most all-time
you can never say Eli Manning isnt tough. He got hit tons of times, got his butt up and played as well as you could against that defense. Props to the 49ers. that team has a bright future.
Eli proved once and for all he is an elite QB............you can't doubt him anymore. And in two weeks, if he wins his second Super Bowl against Tom Brady, he should be considered for the HOF. Tom Coughlin especially.
I don't think I've been as emotionally drained over a game than this. You guys are tough S.O.B.'s..............
