The irony of both championship games are the Harbaugh brothers lost there games by FG.

If it weren't for Vernon Davis, smith throws for like 50 yards. But forget the 49ers ineptitude on offense, that defense is freaking absurd. Pass rush is great, LBers are beasts. It secondary needs work.

Would've been more in your favor if you guys converted a few of those............like I mentioned in the 49ers-Saints gameday thread.............if you guys had an offense to match your relentless D..............the 49ers would be unstoppable.

And her post proves my point..............49ers are strong on defense but above average at best on offense. The 49ers D kept them in the game but they only converted just 1 first down on third down and scored just 17 points.

Two V.D. TD's came on our defensive breakdowns. Without those, Alex Smith's performance would go from average to downright dismal. They need playmakers on the outside to complement Davis and Smith if they want to advance next season.
