After hiring the defensive-minded Chuck Pagano to be their head coach, the Indianapolis Colts and owner Jim Irsay needed to find an offensive coordinator. They have found it in Bruce Arians. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Arians will fly to Indy on Monday to finalize his contract. Arians said last week that he was retiring from coaching, but that move came out of bitterness after the Pittsburgh Steelers forced him out. He had been the Steelers' offensive coordinator for the past five seasons. Source: FFToolbox
For a rookie QB, a conservative co-ordinator can do wonders. Look at us last season, Pat Shurmur's ultra-conservative gameplanning let Sam Bradford have one of the rookie seasons for a QB and had us one game away from the playoffs.
he made us look like a poor mans colts, him going to this typeof team is a pretty good fit. he does still suck at gameplanning though
