Brandon Marshall caught six passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns as the AFC used a dominant second half to earn a 59-41 win over the NFC in the 2012 Pro Bowl. The AFC picked off Cam Newton Three times, the final being a pick by Eric Weddle that was returned for a touchdown. The interception was Weddle's second of the game. Officially, the game was the highest scoring Pro Bowl ever with over 1,100 yards of total offense. The AFC scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to blow open a close game. The 59 points by the AFC is a record for points scored by a single squad in the Pro Bowl.

Pretty much sums up this season as a whole. Lots of passing and bad defense.

I want to know how this is the worst "All Star Game" in pro sports but the NFL is by far the most popular sport.

Worst.Game.Ever. The NFL just needs to scrap this. D-Linemen just stood up and didn't do anything. Might as well not even have a D-Line on the field. At one point Cam Newton threw a pass and was intercepted and when they ran it back he backed up and let him in. Dumbest crap ever.

um, is this the first pro bowl you guys ever watched? it's been this way for years............. i stopped watching the pro bowl 10 years ago ............. it's even worse than pre-season games because at least in pre-season games, 'some' of the young guys are playing hard, trying to earn a spot.

they 'tried' to incentivize this years game by giving an extra $25k to the players on the winning side ........ $25k to the highest paid players in the league isn't worth risking an injury though.

I watched it. I watch every year. I don't watch it for the X's and O's. I watch it for the occasional great play/catch, Ray Ray cheering on Antonio Brown, the Jared Allen crap...more it less the entertainment aspect of the game, more so than the game itself.

Can we please stop the love fest over Cam Newton? He was awful yesterday. He shouldn't have been picked.

This. Every year I end up watching some of it because I'm at home and it's football but it never stays on more than a quarter. Garbage.

Dude was responsible for 35 TDs and 4,000 yards his rookie season.

He wasn't like first ballot. With how many people dropped out, he deserved to go.

The AFC defense gave a nice initiation to Cam...was funny to see them actually put forth a tiny effort when he entered the game.

I turned it on, first thing I saw was a play where everyone went slow motion and didn't even try to tackle anyone...the crowd boo'ed. The second play, basically the same thing...the crowd boo'ed. I shut it off.

I turned it back on later out of bordem and seen Cam Newton, against a half butt defense they guy looked terrible and had no business playing. Didn't he get sacked?!?! I mean com'on how do you get sacked in a pro bowl game when the defense isn't even trying? When he let that guy run past him for a pick six I turned it off again.

Yeah. Antonio Brown playing (or at least being put in the game at) defensive back , the Brees failed dropkick, Brandon Marshall pretty much saying twice 'This is what happens when I have a QB that doesn't suck" .... It was as entertaining as anything else on Sunday evening TD.

I think they should get rid of the pro bowl. everbody is worried about getting injured whuch is understandable. but what I think would be a better idea is maybe like a skills competition
