how? elways was a great runner and had a bazooka on his shoulder, luck is neither of them.

best QB prospect ive ever seen...just about as elite as they come in all non physical qualities and physically i think he compares to eli manning pretty well

I kinda hope he busts. I don't think he will, but I would love to see everyone who's already making him a god among men be proved wrong.

god among men? hardly...i save that kind of praise for the calvin johnsons of the world. but hes about as pro ready of a franchise QB as you can get out of college....head and shoulders about sam bradford, cam newton, jamarcus russel, michael vick, eli manning, alex smith, aaron rodgers, matt stafford, and matt ryan at this stage in the process

Peyton coming out of Tennessee is a great comparison

K Train I'm not arguing that. lol. I just hope he comes out and busts and makes everyone look bad. Like I said though, I don't think he will.

so unfair that the colts get to follow manning with luck....they really picked a hell of a year to suck ass

Comparable to when The Admiral went down and the Spurs tanked the year Duncan came out

How many championships did that injury net?

well, this scouting report isn't completely honest.

Luck has a ton of strengths obviously but he doesn't have the quickest release, he sometimes tries to force throws, he will take sacks he shouldn't instead of throwing it away, he does not have great arm strength and doesn't throw 'lasers',and he has some 'tells' that show where he is going with the ball ............

don't get me wrong, the guy shows a real ability to read defenses and throw accurately (the 2 most important skills), but to hint that he doesn't have a LOT of things to work on to live up to his hype is not accurate .................

he'll grow into his arm....guys like brees and brady are perfect example of QBs that didnt have the strongest arms in college but it imporved quickly early in their careers

Lol you wanna see another Ryan Leaf. Robert Griffin III RG3 is better. Against better competition Luck struggle against Oregon and USC while griffin had very good outings against OK St. Oklahoma Texas and Texas A&M.

Lol how do you struggle when you complete over 70% of your pass, throw 3 TD's and drop 56 points on someone?

RG3 is good, but to say he is better then Luck smacks of Big 12 bias

It's going to be interesting to see how he transition to the pros because against Oregon and USC those team have very quick athletic defenses and he will be facing pros who are quicker faster and stronger.

He's a good prospect but not the best. He seems to throw into double coverage quite a bit.

yep, peyton actually didn't have the strongest arm coming out of college either.

no question Luck 'appears' to be about as far along as you could expect someone to be prior to being drafted, especially in the 2 most important areas for an NFL QB (being able to read and being accurate).

My only purpose in pointing out Luck's 'weaknesses' was to say that a scouting report on the guy needs to be realistic instead of just saying he has no weaknesses. Fact is, if Luck just brought his current game to the NFL and never improved, you would be getting Joe Flacco 2.0 and if that happens, he will be considered an enormous bust.

18. he has a quick release every time I've ever watched him.

Every single young QB ever forces throws. Ever..

He has a good arm. It's more than solid.

I've seen the Dude throw lazers. He can put some heat on it.

I disagree. I think he is the best QB prospect, and most polished, in years and years.

19. that's because Luck played with crapty talent. It wasn't Luck's fault they lost those games.

20. name 1 young QB who doesn't? :icon_eek:
