According to Jets coach Rex Ryan, wide receiver Santonio Holmes has a first step in mind to improve his strained relationship with quarterback Mark Sanchez. Ryan told the New York Post that Holmes has suggested the two go on a weekend retreat to begin the process of improving their chemistry. "It seemed like that was what Santonio was talking about," Ryan said from Indianapolis, where he was making promotional appearances before the Super Bowl. "I don't know if he's reached out to Mark yet and done anything, but that is what I believe to be true." The rift between Sanchez and Holmes was revealed after the Jets’ disappointing 8-8 season.
