ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that unnamed team sources say Browns running back Peyton Hillis contemplated retirement as he struggled through an injury-riddled 2011 season, and considered joining the CIA. Hillis and the Browns are in talks on a new contract, but ESPN reports the team won't use its franchise tag to keep him. If no agreement is reached, Hillis would become an unrestricted free agent. A bumpy 2011 has likely diminished Hillis' value on the open market. As for the a career in the CIA, ESPN says it's unclear if Hillis actually pursued that path.

I disliked him last season and thought he was a big snitch. This confirms it...

While "playing" football for an NFL team he was contemplating actually quitting and might have pushed a CIA career?

I continue to despise him more and more each day.

Don't you have to be intelligent to be in the CIA?

Odd fact for you Steeler fans. Jeremy Staat was in my unit. Not while was there, I think he hit 1/3 in 2007 and I left in 2005
