Quarterback Brady Quinn has signed a deal with the Chiefs, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Quinn has spent the last two seasons with the Broncos but has not appeared in any games. He was drafted by the Browns in 2007 and started 12 games in three years in Cleveland. Quinn is likely to be a backup to Chiefs QB Matt Cassel. Ricky Stanzi is the only other quarterback on the Chiefs’ roster as Kyle Orton recently signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Source: NFL.com
I don't get confused very easily, but this has me shaking my head. I am not sure if Scott has decided to recycle fragile QB's rather than protect them. I will be scared when I get behind KC's O-line.
to be fair Quinn wasn't awful in Cleveland he just wasn't good either. Too conservative. Stanzi is a nice developmental QB.
the chiefs said that they were bringing in competition for Cassel ............. i think most chiefs fans figured that meant the were going to keep Orton ............... apparently it meant Brady Quinn ...........
