Lions DT Nick Fairley Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley was arrested in Mobile, Alabama on a second degree marijuana possession charge, Izzy Gould of the Sun-Sentinel reports. According to Gould, who until recently covered the University of Alabama football program, Fairley was arrested at 12:30pm on Tuesday following a citizen complaint. Fairley was released on $1,000 bond. Second-degree possession of marijuana charge in the state of Alabama is defined as "for personal use only without a prior conviction for the same offense".

Fairley has the talent at his position. He just made a bad decision.

 

On a team that was already stacked at the position, why pick a guy who makes bad decisions?
