All parties who appealed punishment in the New Orleans Saints' "bounty" scandal will have their cases heard Thursday at NFL headquarters in New York, according to Albert Breer and Steve Wyche of NFL.com citing multiple sources and later confirmed by the league. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will listen to appeals from the Saints, coach Sean Payton, general manager Mickey Loomis and assistant head coach Joe Vitt, according to league spokesman Greg Aiello. Goodell -- who suspended Payton for the season, Loomis for eight games and Vitt for six, and also fined the Saints $500,000 and docked them two second-round draft picks -- will hear and rule on the appeals. Hahahahahahahaha.....so the appeal is decided on by the very man that handed down the punishment instead of an arbitrator? That sounds fair.
everything should be like that. want to appeal your criminal conviction? Go before the judge that sentenced you. That should cut the waiting time for awaiting trial by a lot.
