Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley was arrested in Mobile, Alabama on a second degree marijuana possession charge, Izzy Gould of the Sun-Sentinel reports. According to Gould, who until recently covered the University of Alabama football program, Fairley was arrested at 12:30pm on Tuesday following a citizen complaint. Fairley was released on $1,000 bond. Second-degree possession of marijuana charge in the state of Alabama is defined as "for personal use only without a prior conviction for the same offense". Goodell should suspend him for a year with no pay to make sure no one ever does this again...:icon_rolleyes:
there seems to be a lot of guys getting popped for weed this off-season ....... more than normal anyway
