The Eagles continue to do their homework on this year's quarterback prospects. They worked out Arizona's Nick Foles earlier this week, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com. Foles (6-5, 243) is not considered a top-five quarterback by NFL Network's Mike Mayock or ESPN's Mel Kiper. He projects as a second- or third-round pick. Source: Philly.com
Hey, I'm just saying... when we start talking about the QB leftovers, give me the guy who has won damn near every game he has ever played and has produced in every. single. game.
Who wont be able to throw a ball 15 yards down field in the NFL without ur being a pick 6 waiting to happen. Moore simply isn't an NFL QB. If Foles played in that conferense, with that team, he would have destroyed what Moore did Sent by HTC Vivid using Tapatalk
As is the case with every player, neither of us have any clue how they will work out in the pros. How many QBs with reports from legit scouts saying the same thing have turned into Pro Bowlers? Both are not worth a high pick, obviously. But I've watched enough of Foles to know that I don't want him on my team.
Go look at one of Moores deep passes . In the NFL, thats turnover waiting to happen. He doesn't have the arm to throw a straight line pass beyond 20. I'm not gonna pretend I can tell you what QB is gonna be the next Brady, but I can say with a fair degree of confidence that unless Moore juice's, he'll be an Arena QB. There are QBs that lack arm strength. Then there are QBs that lack NFL. Moore lacks an NFL arm Sent by HTC Vivid using Tapatalk
Size doesn't really worry me, Brees is about the same size. It's that he can't throw downfield without it almost resembling a punt Sent by HTC Vivid using Tapatalk
So you run an offense that relies on short to intermediate passes. One that lets him get the ball out quick which is his specialty and one where he doesn't have to take many hits because he is 'so small'. Dude, I watched the Eagles thrive with Jeff freaking Garcia at the tail end of his career. Need I say more?
it's not even just that he doesn't have a strong arm. He is small He is left handed He has bad footwork His passes have no velocity
Then the 4th-5th-6th round pick (where just about everyone thinks he will go) I used on him was a waste. But if he shines... then I'm a freaking genius.
And he still managed over 74% completion percentage and 43/9 TD/INT??? Imagine what the heck this kid could do with a good QB coach!!!
Gah!! FREAK MY LIFE!! I will burn down Andy Reids home if this crap happens anywhere below the 5th or 6th round. I had a nightmare about them selecting Tannehill in the 2nd round like Kevin Kolb. ARGH!!!
Not when he was in Philadelphia...he struggled to throw it 15 yards with velocity and I may not be exaggerating...
