Honestly it was for entertainment purposes.. But since you opened that can of worms.. Actually Ray Lewis still holds bible studies with a lot of his younger teammates. He mentors quite a few. Youtube has quite a few of him proclaiming this fact.. just sayin..

smoking weed doesn't make you a thug or bad guy but smoking weed knowing you will have drug tests isn't very smart. I question his decision making skills. I hope he has realized his drug use is frowned upon but I think it is a result of him wanting to be a first round pick and the money that comes with that. Who really knows what is in the hearts of people. I can see failing one drug test maybe two but 4? I see nothing wrong with smoking bud but it is not allowed in sports. There is too much money involved to draft someone in the first round who makes questionable decisions no matter how talented they are. Draft him after the first round and see how he does in the league with the money in his pocket. If he does right, his next contract will reflect the work he put in. If he messes up and gets popped by arrest or failing a drug test then you haven't really lost too much money.

In regards to K Trains comparison Dre, I agree with a "but". More on that in a second. I'm just wondering why Dre isn't getting knocked for his idiotic pot arrest. I don't care that it was thrown out, because you know that was BS.

As far as Jenkins Vs Kirkpatrick as a CB. Old Man Jenkins may be the most ready CB since Newman, and maybe the first the only CB to come into the NFL with pretty much refined enough coverage skills that he can be expected to be a lockdown #1 CB. Helps negate the fact that he is already, what, 24. Kirkpatrick IMO has a very high ceiling, and can play press man well enough that he MAY be able to start, but as of 2012, he isn't good enough in man to start for most teams. As a rookie, he would probably be better off in a zone scheme. He has the smooth hips and backpettle that he could develope into dominant #1 CB in any scheme down the line, but right now his coverage skills aren't nearly what Jenkins are

It's how I differentiate an American Football Cornerbacks backwards step, or "backpettle" from a cyclist peddling his bicycle backwards

I had grown tired of the two being confused with each other

i wasnt gonna go there because i have a biased hatred ha
jenkins is better than claiborne imo, i like claiborne a lot but jenkins has unreal ability. Mo had a good transition from being the other guy to being the guy and that worked out well for him.

dre needs to be a press zone CB or you will watch him chase WRs into the endzone over and over again. and his weed scandal was clearly a pay off, but thats the nature of the business.
