Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald misses the days when he was teamed up with Anquan Boldin and since then has been double teamed as the Cardinals primary threat through the air. So it isn't too suprising to hear that Fitzgerald is lobbying for a wide receiver with the Cardinals top pick in the draft this week. Peter King of SI.com spoke with Fitzgerald over the weekend and he indicated he wants the Cardinals to draft Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd with the 13th pick of the NFL draft. Floyd has been rising and some have said he might slip into the top ten which would put him out of the Cardinals reach. Source: The Redzone
2 very similar WRs, and with fitz already being among the elite floyd would come in and have it much easier with defenses keying on fitz plus learning the ins and outs from fitz. would actually be ridiculous....even kolb could take advantage of that redzone nightmare duo
Nonsense, no chance he's available there. He's my top rated WR in this draft, and I'd be surprised if I was the only one.
No. Justin Blackmon is the top rated WR in this draft. And unless a trade is made, he's going at #6 to St. Louis, IMHO.
You're probably right, but ratings are based on opinons, and mine is that Floyd is a better player. And like I said, I'd be surprised if some people out there, other than you or I, don't have Floyd rated higher as well. But regardless, I don't think there's a chance that he's there at the Bengals first pick, let alone at 21, and if he was, I'd be all over trading up for him.
