Steelers Select Stanford OG David DeCastro (Rd.1, No.24)

    With the 24th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select David DeCastro, OG (Stanford). DeCastro has been a terrific lineman at Stamford the past three years and is a dominant run blocker who also handles the opposition in pass protection. He has a lot of upside and should break into a starting lineup early into his NFL career and stay there for years to come. Explosive off the snap, quickly gets into blocks and easily turns defenders from the line. Solid run blocker who opens up big lanes for the ballcarrier and works hard until the whistle blows.

    I feel ya there man. I love the NFL draft.. I always have a blast.

    And this was one of the best values in the draft. I had heard this guy could of went top 10. To get this caliber a player at 24 is awesome. Great job Steelers!

    I disagree rags we didn't have a problem scoring last yr and our line didn't do bad but the issue was other teams scoring more than the cowboys

    Pouncey and Decastro on the inside is just unfair. K Train could be an All Pro HB behind that
