NFL Legend LB Junior Seau Dead At 43

Prolly thinking of his family. This way they can have an open casket.

 

He wanted to donate his brain after he died for concussion studies. I think it was more that than preserving himself for an Open Casket. I'm still not believing it until I see it on ESPN. End of story. Screw that.

Screw. That's sad. But this unfortunately isn't the first time he's tried to do this. I forgot about this,

Loved this dude when I was growing up. He was adored in San Diego, damn near the level Tony Gwynn was. Sad to see it all end like this.

 

RIP junior Seau thank you for the memories you'll be missed.

Yeah but honestly, he thought he was going to be brought up on charges. A man's going to say a lot of things and I don't think Seau was one to say that he tried to off himself and failed. Either way, horrible when the only way out is to end your own life. Here's hoping that if there IS in fact more to this story that they just let it lie wherever it presently is and don't feel the need to drag Junior through the mud.

 

Yea i've been hearing suicide as well.

well to be honest most of those guys died from being morbidly obese or from drugs/alcohol.

 

-- Linebacker David Griggs died in a 1995 car crash
-- Running back Rodney Culver and his wife died in a plane crash in 1996
-- Linebacker Doug Miller was killed after being struck by lightning in 1998
-- Center Curtis Whitley was found dead in his home in 2008 due to an accidental drug overdose
-- Defensive end Chris Mims died in his home as a result of a heart-related issue in 2008
-- Defensive tackle Shawn Lee passed away in 2011 from cardiac arrest
-- Linebacker Lew Bush died in 2011 from a heart attack in his San Diego home
