Pretty sure they just own the rights to the name Sting which is interesting though since TNA is actively using it. However, I'd literally crap my pants if he ever showed up on WWE TV.

The E owns the rights to WCW so you'll notice that his profile stops with Nitros last match vs Flair. It's just trying to get more folks clicking. However, there's talk that he's letting his contract with TNA expire. He "re-signed" a deal on TV but they say it ends soonish.
