The St. Louis Rams announced they have signed first-round pick defensive tackle Michael Brockers struck a deal on Thursday afternoon. Brockers has been present and participating in the team’s Organized Team Activities and the rookie minicamp, working mostly with the first team alongside Kendall Langford on the inside. The Rams used the 14th selection on Brockers after trading down from No. 6.

with drafting carriker, long, and brockers the last few years and signing langford to a pretty big deal, and still trying to run a 43, id say that the rams are square pegs in a round hole masters of the universe on the dline

Brockers can fit the 43, I think, but you pretty much hit it on the head other than that

he CAN fit, but in his role hes essentially the same player as langford would be in that defense. hed be best in the 34, hes so built for it (as are all the guys i mentioned lol)

Long is a guy who can thrive in any system. I think he is a solid contender for DMVP this year

hes a good power end in a 43, but i think he would have been studly from day one in a 34...took him a bit to get going in STL. He may have a big year

Quinn, Brockers, Langford, Long has some serious potential

It did take him a while. He glad what 8 or sacks total his first two years. He gets better every year, and I think he'll be in the Allen/Ware class this season. If Quinn pulls through, they are going to have a serious set of edge rushers

thanks, but actually he had a good year last year with 13...which doesnt really at all refute my point that he had a slow start to his career.

i was more talking about "big" year like JJ said, putting him in the jared allen area of production, 8.5 and 13 sacks is good, but its middle of the pack numbers for a DE in sacks, especially one that is making that kind of money
