Dallas is seeking a No. 3 receiver, but for now at least, neither Terrell Owens nor Chad Ochocinco seems to be the answer. A Cowboys scout said on Thursday night that the club's personnel people had previously looked at tape of Owens, and then broke out video of Ochocinco after he was released by New England earlier in the day, and were "fairly unimpressed." either guy is going to come extremely cheap. if you wouldn't take a shot on either of them, you have something wrong going on in your brain.
Well call me crazy then because I have no need for either one if I was in charge of a team. Their washed up talents aren't worth the baggage they bring with them. Plus why bring a me-first player into your team?
Signing guys like these are great ways to NOT develop talent. You have two WR's that are capable #1 WR types, that lessens your need for a veteran #3
this...miles and dez are a great 1-2, both capable of being a legit 1, dont bring in a 3 that has the permanent ego of a #1 i wonder if either finds a TV job, youd think networks would be interested in these guys at the VERY least they are tv personalities most people would love or love to hate
I think I have changed my stance on this.. I don't want either of these guys on our team. I believe we have a group of young guys that are ready to contribute.. .02
Cowboys couldn't afford to keep Laurent Robinson at what he commanded. The young guns are going to have to step up. Robinson is a journeyman who got some numbers in his contract year. The Jaguars overpaid for him and aren't looking for him to be their #1.
I have always thought T.O. was entertaining. And love him or hate him for his antics on the field, I always respected the fact that he seemed to stay out of trouble off the field.
