DeAngelo Hall Says Redskins QB Robert Griffin III Ahead Of Michael Vick As Rookie

Robert Griffin III might be a budding franchise cornerstone similar to Michael Vick when he entered the league in 2001, but the comparison ends there, according to Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall. “I feel like he’s light years ahead of Michael Vick because he understands mentally what it takes to be great," Hall said recently on Washington's 980 ESPN Radio (via sportsradiointerviews.com). "Mike felt like he could go out athletically and be great. RG3 is like I know athletically I’m pretty good, but I want to be mentally great. If I can be mentally great and athletically good or great then it is scary. His ability to want to be that great quarterback now and just a great athlete is what is going to separate him from all the other guys out there.â€￾

vick was imature when he entered the league so far rg3 is acting pretty mature but lets wait till he hits the field

hall means more of a passer though, 2012 RG3 is more like the 2010 passing version of vick where his air game wasnt pathetic which is miles ahead of where vick was as a rookie passer
