Former NFL QB Brett Favre Would Take Redskins QB Robert Griffin III Over Andrew Luck

If Brett Favre was an NFL general manager, Robert Griffin III and not Andrew Luck, would be his choice between the two rookie quarterbacks to build a franchise around. "Griffin, he's smaller, but if I was starting a team, I'd probably of went with RG3 just because, if they can't protect you, you got to protect yourself," Favre told NFL Network in an interview with Deion Sanders. Griffin has been compared to last year's No. 1 pick Cam Newton because of similarities in their ability to make plays on the run combined with strong, accurate throwing arms.
