While Commissioner Roger Goodell, upheld the players suspensions in the Saints bounty case, he left open the door that he could reduced the suspensions according to the NFL's press release. Goodell wrote, “While this decision constitutes my final and binding determination under the CBA, I of course retain the inherent authority to reduce a suspension should facts be brought to my attention warranting the exercise of that discretion. The record confirms that each of you was given multiple chances to meet with me to present your side of the story. You are each still welcome to do so.â€￾

Reminds me of the South Park I saw last night where the monkey rage was happening when they were being pissed on. If it does go to court, they may find a sympathetic judge but the court of appeals will shoot it down. Money talks and bullcrap makes you teeth stained. Lucky bulls don't eat corn or peanuts. Tasty.

leaving the door open......sounds like admitting guilt and actually giving the nfl proof they need will get you a few games off suspension. cant wait.............for this to be over

Goodell: "I have ruled. I have reviewed my ruling and I stand by my ruling. Now you may kneel before me and, if you sufficiently prove to me that you did not do what I say you did, I may change my ruling that I have already reviewed."
