The "I Just Watched This Movie" Thread.

Seen the trailer. I've also heard positive things about the movie. I'll wait for it like I do all movies. I hate going to the theater.

 

If you're going to the theater, you have to mortgage the house these days.:icon_frown:

 

There's that and I just feel like it's a waste of time. I'd rather curl up on the couch with the ball and chain and watch the damn movie at our own pace. Get confused, gotta take a leak, more beer? Pause dat bish and rewind.

Also there are these dinner/movie places popping up all over the place down here. Cine Bistro is the popular one. CinéBistro

Who else has these in dey hood?

 

Texas is an impoverished state. None down here.

 

got the new shelock holmes from redbox.....liked the first one better

 

I could see us doing something like that with some other couples. Just don't tell the wife I would be interested in doing so if the right movie came along.

 

I stick to matinees now. Less of a crowd and the tickets are more reasonable.

Seriously. $21 for me and my little girl to see Brave, $8 for popcorn, $4 for a water. Over $30. Bullcrap.

Felt like a regurgitated script, but was written well. Good acting.

SHe's one of my favorites...

 

i did a matinee very weeks ago and it still cost me $40

movies are more overpriced than gas

 

And, don't forget you're paying more if you're seeing a movie if it's in 3D.

 

Is 3D worth it?
