Washington Nationals rookie outfielder Bryce Harper has been named to the All-Star Game to replace Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton, who will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Sunday. Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen guessed Stanton would miss about a month. General manager Mike Hill said the procedure to remove a loose body in the knee is fairly routine. Harper, 19, entered Saturday's game hitting .283 with eight home runs, 25 RBIs and 42 runs scored in 61 games. Stanton returned to the Marlins' lineup Saturday after missing four games with a right knee injury, but he lasted just two innings before being replaced by a pinch hitter. The Marlins said Stanton left the 3-2 loss with right knee discomfort. ESPN.com
