Eagles QB Michael Vick Says 'Dynasty' Is Different Than A 'Dream Team'

Michael Vick uttered the word "Dynasty," yet the Eagles' starting quarterback insists it will not become the "Dream Team" of 2012. When Vince Young made that declaration last training camp, it sparked a season of scrutiny about the hubris of such a claim. The comment was different than that of Vick -- Vick, after all, is the starting quarterback in his fourth season in Philadelphia, while Young was the backup in his first month -- but Vick pointed out that the spirit behind the two statements were different, too. "That's totally different than the 'Dream Team' comment," Vick said. "This is a hypothetical thought, if you think about it in the sense that’s something to aim for. We can create our own dream team. So nothing against what Vince said. This is what we can build if we have the right mindset. It all starts with training camp, and each and every guy has to look at themselves in the mirror and say, 'I put 100 percent into my day and made the most out of it.' Vick believed that the notion that his comments will fuel other teams around the league was "overrated," and said his comment was independent of other teams.

Just make the right decision every time the ball is snapped. The next play is all that matters, not this crystal ball nonsense.

A Dream Team is something a delusional, mediocre, emo, massive draft bust who most likley wont see the field for an extended time, and if he does his team may win in spite of his crapty performance, says

"We could be a dynasty", while probobly off of reality is at least possible and coming from someone (even though I dont think much of him) has had a somewhat accomplished NFL career

So Im not gonna lambast Vick for these comments

 

to me a "Dream Team" is a collection of the best players at each position...pretty much impossible in football until it becomes an Olympic sport

a "Dynasty" is a team that dominates their sport for multiple seasons or years

 

who cares about stupid crap like this is hypothetical we COULD make a dynasty just like i COULD be a millionare doesent mean it will happen

 

Both of those things have about an equal chance of happening.
