Exactly and with Darren Sproles catching passes we are unstoppable even in bad weather. Little short throws to Sproles in bad weather. Running from Sproles and Ivory. We win easy.

haha to funny i think despite sean peyton not being there they rise above and do well again. This bounty crap was annoying to hear about all offseason fix the problem and move on.
Thats an amazing banner lol. The Saints are going to unite stronger than ever, people talking as if the Saints are going to implode due to the bounty scandal I think the opposite happens they unite as a team to prove the doubters wrong and bring the trophy back to New Orleans
what makes you think the Saints will implode? They are too strong of a team to do so. Most of the players and coaches have been there since day one of the Payton era. Payton hired coaches he believes in and coaches in his way of thinking. While they may not put up the numbers as last year, I think they may come close or possibly surpass the total, they will be ok. Remember that Carmichael called the majority of the plays last year and the Saints didn't miss a beat. Carmichael had a chance to go somewhere else last offseason but he stuck around. I just don't see them doing that bad. I think the difference will be Spags. I think he will have that defense ready to play. Remember our Super Bowl came in Williams first year. Spags will have that defense playing lights out. More eyes on the ball means more chances of interceptions. Hopefully Bunkley will stop the runs up the middle and keep our dbs in the back making plays on the ball. The linebackers will be an improvement and I just see good things for this team. Hoping for a downfall is just that, hoping. Not going to happen.

I know. Individually we have some talent on the defense. Like they said in an earlier interview, it is hard to intercept balls with your back to the qb. All we need is a middle of the pack defense, a few more ints, and cover a tight end or two.
Yeah. Don't have to be great with our offense. Just .. enough to stop the huge plays. That's what killed us against the Niners in the playoffs. We had the offense, just couldn't stop them on defense. And self inflicted mistakes. I'm excited about the season. The players seem to be, also, despite all that has gone wrong this offseason. Motivation. I'd LOVE to see them in the SB in New Orleans. Can you imagine that dome? Good God.
That city would be shut down for days. I am moving there in a couple of weeks. I really believe Spags will shape up this defense quickly. Even Brees can see the difference in practice and that is without the pads on. Our corners are right there to make plays on the ball. They are all business. They were always all business but Brees said you can just tell everyone is super focused.
I just hope Patrick Robinson finally produces. Corners need to be on that ball, no matter what. Tired of them getting burned. And I love Roman Harper, but he does not need to be in coverage, no matter what. He's great on the run, but passing - no.
