wtf? What else could you do with Ted? I loved it but I don't see why you would need a sequel.

 

It's made over $190 million worldwide. Any questions?

 

Yea money makes the world go round. I just hope the sequel doesn't disappoint. That's probably like 2 or 3 years away though.

some movies are best standing alone. Just because one movie makes money doesn't mean sequels will. Take that savings and lower ticket prices. Almost, almost, as much as a sporting event.

 

watched pelium 123 on fx today

wasnt anything great, but passed the time.

 

watched hunger games tonight and i wasnt impressed. good thing it was only a redbox rental so im only out a buck twenty five

 

I enjoyed it. Not great, but good. Followed the book pretty well.

Ted- first half was stupid funny. Trailed off after that. Still pretty good. Buy-able.

 

see that was my gripe. i thought it barely did the book justice.

 

Watched friends with benefits last night. First half was some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen movie I a movie.second half had its moments but they were farther apart. But it was alot better than I expected.

Its impossible to bring a book like that to the big screen in the exact same way, but I was pleased.

 

well, and i know this isnt going to mean a hill of beans to anyone, but the book was well written and interesting. the movie was choppy, didnt flow well, and too much cramed into too little a time.

I finally watched The Hangover 2. Not even close to being as funny as the first one. I won't go as far as saying that I regret seeing it, but I certainly would not want to catch it again.

 

Greatest Movie Ever Sold. Spurlock's ingenuity is awesome. Such a clever idea that you would not think would work, but does. I'm a big fan of his.

 

I've seen It's Kind Of A Funny Story. I liked it quite a bit. Haven't seen the other two movies. Will check them out.

I watched Kick-Ass three or four times in a 2-day period this week. That EPIX network randomly plays some really good crap! And for some reason I just can't turn the damn movie off when it's on. Maybe it's the combination of "this is what Nic Cage would look like if he wanted to be a superhero" and Mark Strong. I don't know.

And my girlfriend finally got around to watching Shaun of the Dead tonight. How she'd never seen it in the two years we've been together I have no idea, but I finally got that ish through Netflix.
