No team had a harder opener than the Niners did going into Green Bay. Hard to not think of the 49ers being the team to beat in the NFC now.

This win was huge for the 49ers. Starting the season with a win is important, but starting with a win against a possible superbowl contender does huge things for the confidence of a team. If you can come out in the first game of the season a beat a damn good team like the Packers which are one of the best in the league you can pretty much take on anyone in the league. Not only that taking the packers in lambeau is no joke!!
