Buccaneers Coach Greg Schiano Says Nothing Dirty About Teams Tactics

There has been a lot of discussion about the Bucs going after Giants quarterback Eli Manning when he took a knee in the waning moments of the Giants win.

Bucs coach Greg Schiano was unapologetic about it according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

"I don't know if that's not something that's done in the National Football League," Schiano said. "What I do with our football team is we fight until they tell us game over. And there's nothing dirty about it. There's nothing illegal about it. If people watched Rutgers, they would know that's what we do at the end of a game."

Manning called it a "cheap shot."

    Teammates called it "bush league."

"We do what we're coached," Bucs defensive tackle Gerald McCoy said. "Leave it at that."

coughlin snitching about unwritten rules cracks me up, theres a man 10 yards deep and 2 extra guys protecting the QB on a kneel down for this very reason or in case theres a fumble.

He snitched about the unwritten rule of the pats claiming ballard, and now this...the man needs to get some rules written down lol

Let's say hypothetically the Steelers have the ball and are about to kneel down, the defense pushes Pouncy back he falls on Ben and he breaks a bone in his foot, and you are stuck with the likes of Batch as your QB, would you not snitch?

That's what I'm saying too, if it happens to any of our teams and somebody gets injured, every single one of us is calling for Schiano's head this morning.

hypothetically id answer with the oline should fire forward in order to prevent all that from happening and protect the QB.

so at the end of the day, all things considered its just like running a normal play lol. Never been a fan of the kneel down personally

can't win either way. Goes back to an LSU game. We kneel down and got blasted for it. We ran plays and got blasted for it. Personally I don't like the kneel down. You are basically saying we are taking it easy on you and that gets folks pissed. That is if they have any heart. They should have thrown a Hail Mary. Maybe they will next time they meet up.

  13. Everyone needs to get the heck over it. You don't like it call a shotgun formation or run a HB dive. Bunch of bullcrap about nothing.

I love the kneel down if the Steelers are doing it.

Play to 00:00. The o-line could have acted like an o-line instead of a bunch of snitches. I don't see how its any different than any other play in a game. Sounds like a lot of whining.

If eli did lose the ball it would of gotton alot uglier then it was with the head coaches handshake. It was bush league in my books. I never saw a team do that in my life before. Keep it classy tampa bay
