Ryan Succop kicked the last of his six field goals in overtime to lift the Kansas City Chiefs to a 27-24 win over the New Orleans Saints. Jamaal Charles finished with 233 yards, including a franchise-record 91-yard touchdown run, on 33 carries for the Chiefs (1-2), who scored the game's final 21 points. Matt Cassel threw for 248 yards and one interception while completing 26-of-44 passes. Drew Brees had 240 yards and three touchdowns on 20-of-36 passing for New Orleans, which is off to its first 0-3 start since dropping four straight games to begin the 2007 season. I'm lucky enough to not have a good enough backup to start in his place. Lol. So I definitely benefited from this effort.
My "back up" is Michael Turner so he's been getting just a few more points than Charles each week. Aye! But still, I won by 40 so it's okay. As for the Saints, they really must be missing Peyton. I can't believe that this team is this bad.
