Having Taker involved with the title would be pointless at this stage as the streak is more of a draw/importance. The title should be involved with another match to give that some importance. I really wish the 'E would book Wrestlemania as the climax of everything going on, rather than the feud starter it has been recently (at least in regards to the WWE/Heavyweight Championships). As much as the Sheamus/Del Rio feud was offensively boring, having a feud of that time scale with it finishing at Wrestlemania would at least give both the event and feuds more meaning. And slight on topic, Undertaker/Cena at WM has got to happen at some point. Whether or not you like Cena, it's a dream match up to have for 20-0.
The streak can't end now. I hope they don't mess this up and end up doing something stupid like putting the Rock over Taker. But with the WWE, you just never know.
doesnt make sense at all for him to win the rumble because he would win whatever title it is and then have to defend it lets face it undertaker is now a once a year match the titles are just props to get someone over no one is more over than taker period
Honestly, I think that his WM28 match with Triple H should be the last one. If it was, that would be a perfect way to end his career, IMO.
Rock is due to work Brock Lensar is the rumour are true. As for Taker the only only person I could see him facing at Mania and it being interesting is Cena. I mean that is a match that hasn't taken place in around 5 years and I think it would get people talking. Don't want to see it as I got a feeling they be dumb enough to have Cena end the streak
He's 47, wrestles once or twice a year and maybe walks down to the ring once or twice more. That's how he keeps wrestling. Plus he's in generally amazing condition. And he gets to bang Michelle McCool. Not sure how that helps but it's a way for me to toss this in here.
Yeah, if they paired 'Taker with Cena, I have a very bad feeling they would give it to the former Dr. of Thuganomics. That would be very unfortunate if they let him end the streak. I don't know about Rock & Brock. That's already happened before at 'Mania. However, I do see a very good chance of Punk & Austin happening. They are already making a subtle push towards it. Austin just had ANOTHER knee surgery. Would he really wrestle in a full match at WM? I mean, it would be awesome. And, if they end Taker's streak now..that's just stupid. Shocking, kinda. Since no one ever expects them to do so, but i guess we will see. Or i'll read about it. I cant get into wrestling like i was at one time.
Those were the good ol' days when they understood story telling and it took months instead of weeks to happen. Some other tid bits I've picked up around the way. Taker was at Titan last week apparently and the E is leaving it up to him when he comes back, whether it be RR or Mania. Either way Punk will NOT be the one to end the streak. Either HBK, HHH or Cena will. MAYBE even Brock but not Punk. As far as Austin, minor knee surgery. I still don't see him wrestling at Mania. He isn't Hogan. He's said numerous times he won't crap on his legacy. If he can't wrestle a good match he won't wrestle a match at all.
