DeSean Jackson was a guest of NFL Network this morning and not surprisingly the subject of Michael Vick and a possible benching was the main topic of conversation. When asked what he would think about a QB change, Jackson said: "We are too good of a team to be on a three-game losing streak, so whatever it is we can do to get things rolling that is what we are here to do." And just what is different about Vick this year? "I don't think he is as comfortable as he usually is [running the offense],"Jackson responded. Speaking later to Jeff McLane, Jackson did make it clear that he still supports Vick. "Honestly, I still feel like he's an elite quarterback in this league," Jackson said. "He's still able to make the throws, make the runs. I just think he has to be himself and play how he knows how to play. He's been doing this for a long time. As long as he can stay healthy and continue to do what he needs to do and be a higher player in this league, I think he still has a couple years left." However, Jackson also offered support for Nick Foles in the same interview. "As far as games, I think he's able to do it," Jackson said "I think the sky's the limit for him. He's a talented player. He just hasn't really gotten that opportunity, as far as this season. We'll just see how it goes." Source: SBNation.com

its not vicks fault, obvously it's the fans that are holding this team back because we aren't coddling them.
This is getting better and better every week, especially since the Eagles were the team I was afraid of this year.
well, the eagle paid Vick almost $30 mill for last season and this season. obviously, they haven't gotten their moneys worth. however, they could cut him in the offseason and wouldn't owe him another dime (i believe), which is a good situation to be in.
on a related note ...................... michael vick says WR Desean Jackson isn't comfortable running his routes properly ................
I like what I've seen from Foles in the preseason, but I also watched him for years in the Pac 10 (12). The dude has a history for wetting the bed when the game is on the line and pulling a Vick (turnover) in crucial situations. I know you can't base a guy's career off of what he did in college, but compared to a guy as seasoned as Barkley, no question I go with that guy (and I know there are plenty of Barkley haters, SHUT IT). UNLESS Foles gets some playing time this year and proves he can hang.
I hear you on that. win just enough games to get a mediocre first round pick. Pick like 16th and have only 12 decent first round prospects available. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt and it was too small.
