Lest his appearance at Sunday’s game wasn’t proof enough, Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has so far passed the standard test that cancer doctors administer to leukemia patients with flying colors, his doctors say. In fact, in medical-speak Pagano can now be considered in remission, said his oncologist Dr. Larry Cripe, an associate professor of medicine at the IU Health Simon Cancer Center. But that’s not the same as being cured. Doctors know that Pagano’s disease -- acute promyelocytic leukemia – can recur if a patient receives only one round of chemotherapy. The standard approach, therefore, calls for a total of three rounds and then maintenance treatment over a course of about two years post diagnosis, Cripe said. Source: Indianapolis Star
Very very good to hear. His speech after that game was amazing. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
The post tramp is like 2378934798357471236890 pages long. He doesn't have some health issue though? Besides the fact he's from Florida.
