Lets not get it twisted its not like Cutler was playing anything more then average yesterday under 200 yards 1 td 1 int. He isnt that good of a qb.

What i'm trying to say is that cutler makes his team better. There is no debate. But there is a question if the niners are better without Smith.

Even though Alex was benched hes still the better player if Kaepernick was on the bears he would also be starting over Cutler.

It's also entertaining that you're mistaking fantasy numbers for football talent. Also the fact that cutler is playing against Seattle, while kaepernick of playing st Louis. I would start kaep in fantasy too. But if i'm a coach, cutler would obviously start.

Not even Lovie himself would take Cutler over Kaepernick right now. Kaeps escapability would be a godsend behind that Bears junior varsity Oline.

I'm going to go argue with a toddler about which bugs taste better. Maybe he'll have some real arguments.

 

i provided tons of stats that back up my argument only thing the cutler backers have said is well your stupid stats mean nothing Cutler throws deep better(which i showed isnt exactly true) Smith>Cutler and if you want I can show the stats again. Kaepernick starting now doesnt not mean that Cutler is all of a sudden better then Smith cause Kaepernick would start over Cutler as well.

 

People who use only stats have zero merit in an argument because it's like the three little pigs, using stats is building a house with straw and sticks rather than bricks. The simple fact that you can not deny that the Bears are worse without Cutler and the 49ers are not worse without Smith, and I'll with hold judgement against Kaepernick until teams get film on him. It's really funny how fans of the same team disagree with you and your assessments. If you want to put stats up, look up Smith's stats on third down, not just completion %, but his yards per attempt and % of passes thrown away under pressure. Point of fact, the better QBs in the league makes the teams better, look at the Mannings and Brady, There is absolutely no doubt that Cutler makes the Bears better, Smith doesn't, which is why he was benched.

You are negating who the back-ups are in your argument. Cutler makes the Bears better, based on who his back-ups currently are. If his back-ups were Brady, Brees, Rodgers, the Mannings, CK, or possibly Smith...he certainly may not make the Bears better than them.

Not saying he is up there. My point is that the mark of a good QB makes his team better and the players around him better. Cutler no doubt does that, regardless of back-ups, and Maybe Brady, and the Mannings would survive behind that "offensive line" because Brees and Rodgers are going through the same thing and both are under performing.
