Cowboys owner Jerry said Friday that “it looks like†running back DeMarco Murray will play Sunday against the Eagles. “We’ll see how he responds today,†Jones said on KRLD-FM (105.3). “But the key day was yesterday. He came back from the day before, which was his first day out. Usually that is a leveling-off or setback day if you have the effects of your first day back. “He didn’t have that. He practiced well. We’ll see how he does these next couple of days. But it looks like we’ll have him.†Murray hasn’t played since he sprained his left foot Oct. 14 against Baltimore. Since he has been sidelined, the Cowboys’ ground attack has sputtered as Dallas has averaged three yards per carry and scored only three rushing touchdowns. Murray is expected to help resuscitate the flagging running game. “Obviously, that’d be a spark for us, getting a player like that,†tight end Jason Witten said. “He does do a good job after he gets hit…getting north and south, getting positive yards. He’s a dynamic back.†Source: Dallas Morning News
