In the final three games of his rookie season, Bengals receiver Mohamed Sanu caught four touchdowns and earned himself the No. 2 receiver role in Cincinnati behind A.J. Green. But late last week, Sanu suffered a stress fracture in his foot during practice. On Tuesday, the Bengals placed him on the IR list, ending his season. Though Sanu threw a 73-yard touchdown pass on the first play in Week 3, it took him a while to get acclimated in the receiving corps. But in those final three games, he caught 11 passes and seemed to have figured out his role. “It's unfortunate for Mo and for us because of what he was doing,†coach Marvin Lewis said. “But we will pick it up and move forward.†Source: CBS Sports
I'm not complaining about it. I actually like the Bengals WR corps a lot. Hawkins isn't a slouch either.
