you cant really believe special teams has equal weight to offense and defense lol

 

They have a right to complain about that because the NFL hid info about head injuries from them. But trying to take violence out of football is like trying to take stink out of crap,can't be done! they will start with eliminating kickoffs,then it will be punts,and before you know it,running plays will be banned! unlike way back when.players did not know what happens after football,today's players know and accept the risk,so treat them like men,not little boys and play the damn game!:icon_cheesygrin:

 

so after a score, the scoring team would get the ball back and have a 4th and 15 to get a first down? then some teams may not even get a possession. that would be a lot better. SMH.

 

Might as well cut the roster size in half. They'd be eliminating jobs for a crap load of players.

 

I Honestly do not know how goodell gets a damn thing done with his head so far up his own ass!

 

Hey guys! I have a friend who works for the NFL. He let me know that they're working on new gear to help players be safe! He sent me over a picture and said don't let anyone see it but I think you guys are safe and won't tell anyone! Here it is!!

 

going out on a limb here and saying that there is nothing they are working on?

 

They could either go for it or punt. Obviously going for it would be as rare as an onside kick.

 

a better way to improve player's safety is not to field a defense.

I would think punts are more dangerous. i understand wanting to make the game safer but it is a violent game. like making war safer,

 

Honestly the NFL is trying to destory itself with things like this. Look into making safer heltems and better protective equiment to cut down the blunt force of the hits.

 

I think more of the "splash play" (to steal a term from Mike Tomlin) hits occur on a returner during a punt return.

 

Start waving bye-bye to the NFL, people, because in 20 years you won't have it.

 

why doesnt he turn it into pro wrestling and pick out a winner before hand too
