normally, if both teams play their best game, i think the niners can contain the pats offense and give them a good battle. however, i'm not sure the niners have much motivation to play their best game and we may have a repeat of the texans game.
I don't recall ever seeing motivation aa problem for thus team. Have seen over confidence a an issue. My biggest concern is they try too hard to outsmart the pats d and hurt themselves
well, i was referring to it being late in the season and san fran having a playoff spot nearly locked up. they don't need this game desperately or anything.

yes, i think we all understand how the seeds/byes work. i believe the fans of each team put more importance on the seeds/byes than the coaches/players themselves.
