GIF NFL MVP Voting Thread

After a great turnout in the Nomination threads, it's time to get the voting started! GIF has spoken, and the Nominees are set. Now is the time for everyone to make their case for the person they think should win each award. The voting threads will be left up for a week or so, so everyone has plenty of time to debate and vote. After the voting is done, we'll wait and see how close we are to the actual NFL winners.

Who could have predicted Manning would come back and win MVP in his first year back? This guy is freaking insane.

eh, i disagree. the chiefs have a stud running back and still suck. :rofl:

they would become the rams or dolphins. they would remain somewhat competitive but just wouldn't have a solid running game.

 

Peyton over Adrian...but it's damn close.

I'd vote for jj watt, dude is unbelievable. And anyone could've predicted Peyton as an MVP candidate, the media love for that guy is more unprecedented than his play. He's already won at least 2 he shouldn't have, so why not another?

I am going to waste my vote and vote for JJ Watts. He is so freaking close to breaking Michael's record and he didn't get any freebies I believe. But Peyton will win it though.

 

Broncos without Manning = Tebow lead them to the playoffs
Vikings without Peterson = below .500 team

I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure he's won 4.

I gotta go with Adrian Peterson though, if he doesnt win MVP he needs to win CPOY he tore his ACL at like the tail end of last year, and he's put that freaking team on his back. If Ponder looks good at all it's because they're focusing on AD.

 

I believe that a QB should be the league MVP -- that is, unless there is a position player who really goes way above and beyond what you should expect from that kind of position player in the NFL and they are the main reason that their team won.

That is why I vote for Adrian Peterson.

I think Kissman nailed it. The type of season Peyton had has become the norm for Elite QBs. And you can make the argument that Rodger's season was even better. If Manning and Rodgers swapped teams, I think the Broncos would improve and the Packers would drop off a little. Replace Peterson with Alfred Morris or Marshawn Lynch and the Vikings aren't in the playoffs.
