Steve12 The night is dark and full of terrors

At some point you have to realize that he's not making bonehead mistakes, he's just a bonehead. Some guys don't grow out of it.

i mean at this point how many chances can you get when your in a pressure game and lose. Its not like the guy makes it deep in the playoffs and then loses. Its every single time theres a pressure game he chokes.

hes not young either i think the cowboys are at that point with romo that the eagles were with mcnabb when they traded him

Oh man thanks Crowned. I needed a good laugh. Tony Romo is an awful freaking QB. Sure he has good games but when all is said and done he's freaking awful. I don't care if he manages to win the Super Bowl next season, he's garbage. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three, four, five times, you're a freaking moron. Tony Romo is garbage.

He's a good QB, but he needs to be at a huge advantage to win critical games. Basicly a team needs to win a big game.for him

Case in the the back to back wins against the Eagles in 2009. The Eagles matched up very poorly, the couldn't stop middle pressure, McNabb couldnt step into he pocket. That and our CBs locked down there WRs

He needs an advantage like that to win a big game. If not he will force things. Funny thing is that's the only time he plays like that

If Garrett remains HC. Wade Wilson will get fired and Sparano will be brought back as QB coach. I just dont see Jerry firing Garrett but one can dream.

Congrats to the Skins! They deserved to win.

As for getting rid of Romo, who's out there? Smith? Gabbert? Sanchez? I don't like any of those alternatives.

The NFL Draft in April doesn't have any first round QBs, either. Trade Romo somewhere, promote Orton, and draft a rookie QB, and hope you hit it big? You like that prospect? I don't.

If the Cowboys don't have Romo, what do you think the Cowboys W-L record is for the seven games before last night's game? I think it could be 1-6.

If you get rid of Romo, you could have a series of years like you had after Aikman retired. Weren't those fun years? Be careful what you wish for.

Maybe it's just as well that the Cowboys lost. With the health of Dez, Miles, DeMarcus, etc., the Seahawks would have come in and beaten the hell out of the Cowboys next weekend.

That's the hard part. Do you stick with a guy in the hopes that he will eventually get over the hump, or do you wait 5 more years and look back kicking yourself in the butt when he does nothing and all of the signs were there?

    86WARD -

There's nothing out there in 2013 that would make someone dump Romo to add "that guy" via the draft or free agency...

Big QB trades seem to happen every offseason. And some QBs who we assume are safe will get canned before bonuses need to be handed out.

im not even remotely familar with the college QBs coming out. is there anyone even worth aquring to groom as a franchise guy?

I don't see anyone. I was high on Geno Smith of WV for a while, but as the season progressed, he became just an average QB.
