Roethlisberger sat a week and a quarter...lol. You can say Fitzpatrick...if you want to say he's a starter. Kolb. I think Romo sat one season. Not really a grooming session though. Basically, if you're looking for success, the grooming process has more failures than successes...
He sat behind walsh, and got benched a few times during games because he was playing so bad.walsh was the qb when they won 1 game in 1989.aikman did not even start during the cowboys 1st playoff game under jimmy johnson in detroit, steve beuerlin did!
Haha I remember that Worth noting Steve Beurline went to a Pro Bowl with the Panthers. IMO and under appreciated player here. If we didn't have him in 1991 the same thing would have happened as the year before when Aikman got hurt and we tanked the rest of the season and missed the playoffs Sent from my HTC Vivid
He didn't "sit", he was the starter, but there was a contraversy with Walsh. Walsh was Jimmys guy. Johnson inherited Aikman, and wasn't sold so he spent a Sup First on Walsh (Wound up costing us the #1 overall). At least we managed to trade Walsh for a first rounder, which is kind of wow Sent from my HTC Vivid
He still didn't sit. He started that first game against Arizona if I'm not mistaken. Walsh was drafted that same yr in supplemental draft. But Aikman was the starter. With Walsh coming in in certain plays. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I Do remember that first year aikman played and a season or two after,he took a big time beating every week!He must have had at least 10 to 15 concussions his whole career at the least!
You are correct. I think fifteen was the last count. In his fist game I believe he got a concussion and was bleeding from the ears. The only win that season came against at the Indians and he didn't start. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Walsh started, did'nt he? they won 13-3 in washington,i destroyed a controller watching the freaking game man! But in the end, lavar arrington put aikman's butt out of the game for good on a very clean hit. Aikman was crying like a little snitch at his retirement press conference.
Why isn't being reported that Tony Romo suffered a cracked rib in the second quarter of Sunday night's game against the Redskins? I just saw a note on this from Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.
Do you actually think that would have made a bit of difference in the game sunday night? would Romo had not thrown 3 picks if he did'nt have a cracked rib? would his having a cracked rib stopped alfred morris getting 200 yards on 33 carries? they are not reporting it cause it does'nt mean crap man!
First of all, I was just asking a question. Second, if that had happened to RG3, and the Redskins had lost, you would have used it as an excuse. Don't tell me otherwise. Third, if RG3 had gotten hurt, ESPN would have provided 24/7 coverage.
Actually,i would have given credit where it was due, like i have tried to do in all my posts since i started posting here. and you are right about ESPN coverage, but do you think it would be because of the impact he has had on football this year,or because he was a member of the most improved team in the the nfc east this year and he is the league's most popular player based on jersey sales? Ihave always show respect for the cowboys, giants, and eagles, and i do not make excuses for why they win or lose when they beat the skins! why would i start now?
imo the rib is not an excuse not for me at least, piss ;poor oL play is the the reason we lost along with a subpar defense trying to stop a beast from running Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
