The Houston Texans advanced to the divisional round of the playoffs and a trip to play the Denver Broncos after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday, 19-13. It was the defense that led the way for the Texans, keeping the Bengals offense out of the end zone for the entire game and holding them to just 198 yards of total offense. The sole touchdown of the game for Cincinnati came in the second quarter when Leon Hall intercepted a pass from Matt Schaub and returned it for a score that gave the Bengals the lead. However, Schaub was efficient for the rest of the game, completing 29-of-38 passes for 262 yards. He was aided by the play of running back Arian Foster, who became the first running back ever to accumulate more than 100 yards rushing in his first three postseason appearances as he finished with 140 yards rushing and a touchdown on 32 carries. Not an impressive game on offense for the Texans. This team is playing like they hit the wall weeks ago.

didn't we do this same thing last year? both of these teams looked like crap yesterday and now the texans will go lose in the next round .............. unless they play a LOT better.
i don't know ......... if i were the g.m. of the bengals, i would be seriously tempted to fire marvin lewis at this point ........... 2 years in a row, they couldn't beat a mediocre texans team in the playoffs when they seemingly should have had the upper hand in both contests. granted, the guy typically keeps them competitive in the regular season and sometimes sneaks into the playoffs, but he is now 0-4 in playoff games and at least the last 2 have been very winnable match-ups and they just choked.
LOL I still hope for a bizarre moment in time where New England may just happen to falter in a game like this ? Still gotta play the game. New Englands defense isnt scaring anyone no matter how good the offense seems to be. I still dont expect New England to make it to the SB this year though....
