I want to chime in on the earlier issue of Ray and OJ. Just say that he was connected somehow, he learned his lesson and used the notoriety to do better and help others. OJ just went into a tailspin and went and broke the law again. I didn't like Ray after his arrest but he certainly made up for it on and off the field. I think OJ did it and I don't think Ray had a hand in his incident. I wasn't there but it is just a feeling. He will be missed. His type of play comes around once a generation and he will be missed. He was a beast at linebacker. You know you are an icon when others are compared to you. Thank you Ray for years of big hits and intimidation on the field. I hope you get one more ring before you hang up your cleats.

 

Believe me, I know ALL about Ray Ray's exploits on the field. The loss to the Ravens in the 2000 playoffs still stings. The enduring image of that game is Lewis working the ball from Eddie George and scampering home for the game clinching TD.
